Parking in Tallinn

Visitors must pay for parking their cars in the Old Town, Downtown and City Centre zones of Tallinn. After parking your car, you must place the ticket proving the payment of the parking fee (pay and display) on the dashboard under the windscreen where it can be easily seen. The first fifteen minutes of parking are free in Tallinn, provided that you use a parking clock or write the time when you begin parking on a piece of paper and place the clock/paper in a place where it can be easily seen.

Parking zones:

Vanalinna / Old Town parking zone: 4,6 EUR per hour
Südalinna / Downtown parking zone: 2,3 EUR per hour
Kesklinna / City Centre parking zone: 1 EUR per hour

For a map of the parking zones, click here.

If you want to use banknotes for purchasing a ticket from the pay and display machine, you must remember to enter the exact sum, because the machine does not return notes; all of the banknotes entered will be used for the calculation of the parking duration. The machines do return coins.

Guests of the Savoy Boutique Hotel, Hotel Palace, Hotel Bern and Taanilinna Hotel travelling with their own car should contact the reception of the hotel; the reception staff will find you suitable parking near the hotel.

At the City Hotel Portus, guests can park their cars in a heated garage for a fee – 10 EUR per night. There are also free parking spaces in front of and next to the hotel (please ask for a parking card from the receptionist).

There are 3 parking spaces in front of Taanilinna Hotel. Please make sure to book a parking space in advance.

If you have any questions, our reception staff will always be happy to help you!
