FEBRUARY BRINGS THE WINTER FESTIVAL TO TALLINN
February is the last month of winter, so this is the last chance to enjoy everything that the winter has yet to offer. One such event is the Tallinn Winter Festival that is taking place for the seventh time this year.
Tallinn Winter Festival will cause quality music to resonate in the best halls of the city. Both the over 600-year-old Raekoda and the Estonia Concert Hall that celebrates its 100th birthday this year will host concerts of Estonian and foreign top musicians and talented young performers from 14 to 22 February of this year. The motto of the Winter Festival is "Open your eyes, open your heart". This means that the festival does not just play good music, but it also gives attention to those in our society that need help. This year, the music festival supports musicians themselves - PLMF has created an "Instrument Fund", which aims to support promising young Estonian musicians in purchasing high quality music instruments.
It is nice to have good music in our city. It is even better to be able to do good while enjoying good music. This is why we recommend everyone that likes good music to come and enjoy the VII Tallinn Winter Festival that makes sure that good music continues to play here even better in the future.
