The good chefs of MEKK did good deeds

The chefs of the MEKK restaurant are excellent in preparing delicious gourmet food during their working hours, but this does not mean that during their free time they sit idly. They do good things in their free time, too.

On 23 September another charity football tournament Chefs Cup was held. The tournament brought together the teams of the best restaurants of Estonia. In addition to kicking the ball, the event carried a noble goal – to help to improve the equipment of the kitchen of Kihnu School together.

In conclusion we can say that both aims were fulfilled. The even match treated us to goals as well as excellent defences to meet anyone’s palate, and no point was written to the tournament table light-heartedly. More importantly, good people helped us to collect the remarkable 1,700 euros for Kihnu canteen, which is a great help for buying new equipment for the kitchen.

We are glad that we have done something good and we promise that we will contribute to dignified social projects also in the future.
