Cabaret comes to tallinn
Each year the Vanemuine Theatre puts on stage several good and worthy plays. Unfortunately, however, Vanemuine is located in Tartu where the residents of Tallinn and the guests of our city do not go very often. Therefore it is positive that Vanemuine sometimes comes to us in Tallinn.
Already on 20 October the freshly out musical Cabaret will be shown at the stage of the Nokia Concert Hall. This musical is familiar to many thanks to the film with of the same title, featuring Liza Minelli, that came out in 1972. Although its activities take place during the last days of the Weimar Republic, the topic of Cabaret is relevant also today, telling a story of a society addicted to entertainment, the life full of frivolous and light enjoyment resembles dancing on the edge of the abyss.
In addition to the serious topic that concerns us all, the play is even more enjoyable or the catchy music and fantastic show with masterful conductors and the best local stars.
Another positive side is that the play is not only in our beloved Estonian, but also subtitled to English and Finnish so that following the plot is easy also for our distant guests.
We can recommend this musical because it does not matter if you come from further away or closer places – we will always help you with accommodation!
